As we wrapped up the last quarter of 2020, the tycoon game genre continued to captivate European players on both iOS and Android platforms. Powered by Sensor Tower's comprehensive data analysis, let's delve into how the top five tycoon games fared during this period.

Playrix's Township, a long-standing favorite, showed a strong performance with weekly revenues peaking at over $1M in the week of November 30th. Downloads saw an upward trend, reaching nearly 380K in the week of November 9th, while weekly active users (WAUs) remained relatively steady, hovering around the 3M mark throughout the quarter.

Supercell's Hay Day also demonstrated its enduring appeal with revenues surpassing $1M during the weeks of December 14th and 28th. Downloads for Hay Day were robust, especially in the week of December 21st, where it approached 245K. WAUs showed an impressive increase, ending the year with over 3.8M active users.

Pizzaiolo! by Geisha Tokyo Inc. focused on downloads and user engagement, as the game generated no revenue. Downloads began strong at around 193K in the first week of Q4 but saw a decrease to approximately 64K by the end of December.
